Fishing trip fillets a Cowboy's footy player
While cutting up some bait, Bolton unknowingly chose to add some of his own flesh and blood to the mix, slicing the tendon from his finger. The 27 year old had to have surgery to repair the damage, and it’s put him on the bench for at least 8 weeks.
'Bolts' has cut his finger pretty seriously. He's cut a tendon so they've had to reattach that. That's why it's so long; not good timing," said Cowboys coach, Paul Green earlier this week.
"He's had to have an operation on it so he will be out a little while too. They're saying between eight and 12 weeks, so it's a big blow. He was in good form for us and did a great job against Newcastle."
Who thought that dropping a line in could be more dangerous than 100kg blokes crash-tackling each other on a footy field!?
