Safety Alert from Cabrinha:

When it comes to the development of our products, we at Cabrinha put safety above all things.

We have recently discovered a manufacturing defect in the production of our 2014 Hydra Series H2 backless bindings. Owners of all 2014 H2 backless bindings (STANDARD SIZE ONLY)(KB4H2BDSL) purchased before December 30, 2013 should contact the dealer where their 2014 H2 backless bindings were purchased to receive a new upgraded pair of the H2 backless bindings.

We have discovered in a limited number of cases, the screw fastening the upper foot strap to the chassis, does not meet our minimum test requirement for load, due to incorrect installation by Cabrinha’s supplier. There is a small possibility that the upper can pull away from the chassis connection.

We have taken remedial action and modified the manufacturing process and rectified all H2 systems.   The upgraded H2 backless binding will be available at your local Cabrinha dealer in January 2014.  The upgraded bindings will carry a green dot sticker on the base of the packaging.
