Red Bull King of the Air - The Lineup

King of the Air, On next week in Capetown
It's going to be one of the highlights of 2013, and if the wind comes to the party, it could even be the biggest and most spectacular event ever seen in kiteboarding.

Ruben Lenten, the craziest kiteboarder of all time has been in the ear of his sponsors Red Bull for a while now, devising a plan to get all the best kiteboarders in the world together at his hometown of Big Bay, in Capetown South Africa. Known for its howling winds and perfectly sized swell for big jumps, Big Bay is sure to turn it on for the spectacular event.

Here's how it works: There's a two week window starting from the 1st of February to the 15th. Within that, the organisers are going to pick the best day (yep, just one day) to run the competition. From then on, it's simple. Boost high, loop hard and whatever you do, don't wimp out. It's the kind of event kiteboarders dream of, and it's all happening in a weeks time.

This week the announced who will be there, and from the looks of the A-list, there's going to be no shortage of talent on show. Here's the full list.
