Well, Seabreeze.com.au let the cat out of the bag a few weeks ago when we published news of Andy Yates signing with Xenon kiteboards. And this week the rest of it was confirmed as true, Andy Yates is now part of the Ozone team.

Joining the likes of Jake Kelsick, Torrin Bright and Alex Lewis Hughes; Yates is starting his campaign for the next world tour up in Townsville. Unfortunately for him though, this weeks wet weather meant he couldn't even pump his new kites up outside!

Here's what he had to say about the new sponsorship on Facebook:
"Just received my new kites from my new sponsor - Ozone!! Frothin!! It's pretty much torrential rain here so I had to pump one up in the living room yeww"

Also in Andy news, is his new partnership with professional photographer from the Sunshine Coast, Glen Bowden. Travelling with Andy, Glen will be shooting both pictures and video of him in action, as well as filming a mini series about Andy's shoulder injury. The injury in 2011 toppled Andy from the podium on the world tour, and according to doctors the only possible way it could have happened is from kiteboarding.  It'll be very interesting to see what comes of it!
