Testing out the knee in the Aitutaki lagoon.
After two years off the water, Ewan Jaspan gets back to his A-Game with two weeks in the Cook Islands.
It's been all quiet on the Jaspan front for the past season and a hald, there was no clips of him blasting around St Kilda, nothing of him trekking overseas for sponsors, and no comp results. That's because he wasn't doing those things, due to a knee injury sustained in the PKRA event in China.
Since then he's been recovering, spending lots of time behind a camera, and working on a strategy for the upcoming season. With an occasional kite thrown in for currency, Jaspan's still a regular down in St Kilda, but now he's training hard again for the 2016 season. Sporting a new knee brace, and no-doubt with some fancy new gear on the way from Naish kiteboarding, Jaspan is hoping this year will see him back in a competitive position on the tour.
To prove it, check out the video below of a recent trip to the Cook Islands with the Kite Republic crew.
