Philippine Superyacht Association - The world of sailing and superyachts has, up to now, been mainly focused around the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Several associations in Asia and Australia, however, have been created, in more recent years, to promote the area as an important third destination for superyachts. These include Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and all the regions of Australia & New Zealand. Whilst numbers of visiting superyachts are relatively small at present, compared with Europe, USA and the Caribbean, the growing economies of China and India has seen an increase in ownership of private yachts in Asia.
