The 2011 Australian Offshore Superboat Championships are getting ready to rumble. Dates and venues for the championships have been confirmed with the titles scheduled to begin off Newcastle on April 30. After Newcastle, the offshore circuit moves to Mackay (June 26), Townsville (July 3), Redcliffe (September 18), Geelong (November 26) and Williamstown (December 3). All the current champion crews are lining up to defend their titles; ?Mustang? (Class 1), ?Global Racing? (Supercat Lite), ?SUV Dodge Ram? (Supercat Outboard) and ?FGI? (Supercat Outboard Lite).
