Offshore Superboat Championships 2011 Maritimo wins class 1 at Newcastle. Team Maritimo Offshore battled the wild ocean to take first place at the first round of the championships at Newcastle, with Jaeger Group retiring after two laps followed by Mustang on lap 11. It was a battle to finish the race on the shorted storm course. The SuperCat class The Good Guys were 'Flying' in the rough conditions to take first place.
