UAE Wooden Powerboat Championships. The DIMC Race Committee today in conjunction with the powerboat drivers decided overwhelmingly to postpone the UAE Wooden Powerboat Championships. ?The weather conditions are our greatest concern and the forecast is not good,? said Mohammed Hareb, Race Officer of the Day. ?The boats have an open cockpit and the fact that it may rain during the race and reduce visibility is a risk we cannot take.
