Beko 3-Buoys Challenge Series third race was held on Sydney Harbour on Sunday 23rd October. What a difference a week makes in 18ft Skiff Racing.

The brand new Panasonic-sponsored Lumix skiff (Jonathan Whitty, Greg Dixon, James Hozac) finished second behind Gotta Love It 7 (Seve Jarvin, Sam Newton, Scott Babbage) in race one.

A week later they were placed in the top half of the fleet when things went 'a bit wrong' and they had to be satisfied with a lowly 14th placing, sending them back to eighth overall in the challenge.

Despite the capsize, the team is performing well and looks as though it will be a strong contender in the championship regattas later in the season.
