Want to see SUP Foil done right? Give it to the kids!

There's no teetering going on here! Watch Zane Schweitzer with Finn and Jeffrey Spencer playing in the waves with their SUP hydrofoils, making it look effortless.

As the commotion settles down about the SUP hydrofoiling videos that thrust the sport into worldwide headlines earlier this year, slowly these foils are getting put in the hands of paddlers other than Kai Lenny and Connor Baxter.

As many parents know, if you want to see how quick someone can learn to use a new piece of equipment, give it to a kid. After watching these two on foils, you'll understand too. Effortlessly pumping the boards onto waves barely 20cm high, they're gracefully carving around and having a ball in waves that would otherwise be boring.

Bolted to a pair of super short SUPs, which look more like surfboards than stand up paddle boards, the foil makes surfing possible in waves that would be otherwise impossible to catch. They can even jump from one wave to the one in front with the extra speed generated by pumping the foils.

If you weren't impressed by the early videos of Kai Lenny and Connor Baxter on SUP foils, take a second look at this clip - you might change your mind!
