23:59 last Friday I was steering my yacht over the Wide Bay bar on a dead low tide.

When we had turned off the southern approach (using the sector light on Fraser Island) onto the second leg of the entry we only had the fore light of the lead lights and no rear light.

It was a matter of trusting the fore light and our chart plotter.

On that leg it was a beam sea and the mast was swinging through an arc of about 90 degrees every 5 seconds or so.

Nerve wracking but quite exciting really.

Double island point is a good anchorage and then you could of crossed in the morning on high tide.
Don't trust the leads and go with the latest way points.
I remember every crossing of that bar, great fun.
Love my van in the bush!
I stand on the roof and shout orders to hoist sail and send the cabin 'girl' to my bunk!

Somethings for everyones!

...although I like music that is a little on the experimental side; explores new boundaries.
And I think it depends on when and where you listen to the following.

Punk.

Rap:

Electro-something-modern-english-b&w-stuff

[insert genre] (I quite like this video)

Prog Rock (?)

Candy Pop

Hip-Hop

Dubstep (?) (true dubstep, not that american ****)
