But they sought their position, so that rules them out.

And their own neck was in the same noose so that rules them out,.. unless they had parachutes and didn't use them.

What a ridiculous brain bubble from Sir Pository of all wisdom.

And the worst part?

He gets to pick them.

Who's next?

Gina?
Clive?
John Howard?
B A Santamaria (posthumous)
I bet Bronny gets one after her pathetic effort as speaker ends.

Bah this government has set a course for the 50's white australia illusion and we're heading back there right or wrong.

sir terrance lewis!

speaking of b a santamaria... I always thought there was a big similarity between him and a character on another show that was on at the same time (the phrase :"the following program was recorded in melbourne a week ago") was an instant cue for me as a young boy to change the channel.

I don't think they sought out the position they ended up in. Not even their sim-training went to that level of failure.

How does anyone get knighted? Like David Attenborough for example, he sought out his work didn't he? (I definitely think he deserves it, just asking)

After watching him handle the NBN, how he interacts with the public, how he has 5 or 6 investigations going at once, and how he's not actually doing anything, I've actually come to the conclusion that, somehow, he's worse than Tony.

You might be right but he was a staunch republican. Maybe that's why he didn't get the job?

Agreed. Nobody could ever be *worse* than Tony in my mind but he's certainly not the great saviour waiting to rescue the LNP from the shambles it currently is.
