Penny Wong on TV this morning doing an interview in Washington
Three flags in the background, National flag, Aboriginal flag and Torres Strait Islander Flag. The Aboriginal flag is in the centre, the position of honor. It represents Aboriginal people, not all Australian's. That's deliberate symbolism, its putting one race above all whereas the national flag represents all Australians. The labor party are still trying to divide the country and its a flagrant snub at protocol that is in writing from the Dept of Prime Minister and Cabinet.
The Australian National Flag takes precedence in Australia over all other flags when it is flown in company with other flags. Accordingly, when the Australian Aboriginal Flag is to be flown along with the Australian National Flag, the Australian National Flag should be flown in the position of honour. More on flag protocols can be found in the Australian Flags Booklet.

Yeah, nothing worse than unAustralian symbolism working its way into the morning drip feed of light entertainment coming from the US.
Go have a Bex and a lie down...
"When flying the Australian National Flag with state flags and/or other flags (such as the Australian Aboriginal Flag, the Torres Strait Islander Flag, local government flags, house flags, club pennants, corporate and company flags) in a line of flagpoles, the order of the flags should follow the rules of precedence. The Australian National Flag should always be flown on the far left of a person facing the building. With the exception of a flagpole fitted with a gaff, a house flag or club pennant should never be flown above a national flag."
Yeaaah, I dunno.
Went to catch up with the forums this morning and;
First I read a thread arguing with an opinion PM33 had 12 months ago about the weather, despite the fact PM33 stopped posting months ago
Then I read a thread where it had comically gone from software to toast and now somebody has turned it into a covid thread in less than a page
Then I looked at the funny images, where somebody had posted yet another political statement that isn't even intended to be funny, let alone be actually funny
So by the time I got here this seemed like something a bit new and different and actually had a point. One may consider it a small point or an irrationally sensitive point, or even a party political motivated point, but it does seem to be more relevant and more of a point than those other things.
Yes. But I can say something dumber!
I bought the Duotone Click bar on Friday, took it out Saturday, pushed the click, it works, turned the dial, it works, pushed the click it only works once, turned the dial again pushed the click again it only works once again, this sucks, it doesn't work, I'll have to take it back on Monday. Didn't kite Sunday. Sunday night I realised that your supposed to turn the dial eight times, not once. Yep, stupid.

Problem solved, legend!

The National flag was on the far left when facing the minister so if that is correct then I stand corrected. I thought it should in the middle.

Was the Australian Flag on the left of Penny Wong?
Im working on an automatic version of the click bar that doesn't require all those annoying 8 turns.
I'm not entirely sure how to superceed them yet but I'm thinking some sort of rope I could release and it would default to being fully let out in one click rather then 8. Maybe some sort of cleat system hmmmm
If anyone needs me I'll be in the toast thread having a bath

Yeah, I was sceptical too, but after big name brand lines only lasted twelve months on the other bar, I decided to go with the company that has the best lines.

Have you considered a formal apology to the honorable Penny Wong for your ill-informed post?
Talking of apologies, does anyone know if Joe Biden pardoned remery for his past illegal acts against the Seabreeze forum community, along with a pre-emptive pardon for his present and future illegal acts against the community and the Seabreeze forums themselves ?
I know remery was considering talking to the highest echelons of the federal government about his many, many forum bans and I was wondering if that is why Penny Wong went over to the US early, to ask Joe B. to include remery in his very extensive list as one last act of benevolent clemency ?

It took me ahwhile but i just understood your aboriginal flag/unaustralian joke
