Yikes, if that is correct it's going to have global consequences of an unprecedented scale!

What are we looking at that's different?

An entire high-low tide cycle is being missed on Thursday.

Think I'll have to stay in bed if I can't tell what time to start my paddle up the creek against the tide.

Its all this daylight savings I tell's ya,
not only is it screwing up the cow milking times and fading the curtains,
but now its messing with the lack of moon time in the sky which is delaying tidal movements.

Probably all the global warming and no one using E10 fuel is to blame, my mechanic told me this would happen if I didnt use E10, not just one mechanic but everyone of them I spoke to,
and they should know, they change oil and stuff .

It's probably all a result of the Earth getting even flatter.

It's caused by the leap year.

Its gunna be windy on that day so there will be lots of kites in the air,
thus reducing the earth's wind resistance slowing its spin rate making the ocean surge in the opposite direction. ie longer high tide.
Damn those pesky young kiters, the hot women that chase them and the huge environmental foot print they make.

That, or,
there is a windsurfer comp on somewhere that day??? That amount of overweight old blokes in the ocean at the same time,
the massive water displacement would be huge causing the lonnnnggg high tide??

If so, I think we should all write a proposal to local councils to not allow poledancer comps to coincide with king tides, to stop the dune erosion issues.

Dear earthlings, there is a Penumbral Eclipse on March 23, 2016, which will cause disturbances in Seabreeze tide charts and influence forum chatter.
