Hi guys
I own a 1050HS Armstrong and have noticed that one of the bolts on the trailing edge doesn't screw all the way in, so it's poking out slightly.
The foil whistles at high speeds. Could this be related to the screw sticking out and causing turbulence?
Do you have any suggestions on how to solve this?
I am thinking shortening the length of the bolt slightly might help but I don't have the tools at home to do it.
Would anyone be able to help? I live in Perth area.
Cheers!
Tom
The screw is too long and yes, it could cause turbulence and wind noise. Is this the set that was provided to you by your dealer? If so ask them for another, if not take out he front screw and go down to a bigger hardware store or bolt specialty shop and get a few. Always nice to have extras.
I got A+ fuse and 1550V2. Measured screw as 28.5mm, and screw plus barrel nut 32mm. Check no grit stuck somewhere. Head is 12mm diameter and should be same angle as holes in foil
