I've had a couple of sessions with the ART 799 and BCS 740. Both worked for me but the ART 799 had the edge.
What's your experience?
I bought the 899 to try for lighter wind but didn't like it for kite foil, found it unneccessarily high aspect given we have constant power on tap. High take off & stall speeds and a bit finiky to ride. The extra glide would be great for some sports but I didn't need the hassle. I sold it to stick with the 930 instead. That was my experience, others love them of course.
Although I don't ride the Axis HA wings, I have tried the Naish HA wings namely the 914HA. But although usable with great lift and glide I have to agree they are finicky, there is no throwing them into a turn like you can a mid or low aspect wing.
For me I'm sticking to the mid and low aspect wings for kitefoil, high aspect for winging.

When I had one for a demo (I got talked into it) I had a brain fart and mounted it the same position on the board as my 660/390. Couldn't water start ended up hanging five with my front foot, and only then got up and going.
Half a dozen tacks only; too focused for me. I prefer the x60 wings.
I've tried my art 799 and 899 and did not like them for kite. Prefer the HPS700 as it turns better and doesn't have the steep stall speed. They are great for wing though.
