Hi guys, I'm in the market for a kite foil for lightwind (I won't use it with more than 15-18kn)...I'm 85kg, expert kiter, intermediate foiler
I don't care about speed...but I care the low end, stability and agility...
At the moment I'm btw gong allvator curve MT or L with carbon 85 mast (because is cheap) and slingshot phantasm 633 (armostrong, lift...too expensive)...someone experienced these foils?

I'm curious as to why you wouldn't foil in over 18 knots? Mind you I love the low end, but small kites (3-5sqm) in 20 knots are so much fun. I tried a few setups when I was improving but a carbon foil is leaps and bounds above aluminium. I know they are expensive but the benefits far out way the cost.

I now use a gong curve MT with monobloc carbon 70 mast for kitefoiling waves, I had used the curve L and Aly mast before that but the MT on the carbon is much more responsive and the whole setup is very rigid.
The MT with the kite tail is fun! Very responsive for carves, plus you can just about stop still on a turn, then a couple of pumps and you're cruising again. I find it very stable. On a wave, as long as you keep weight on the front, it just keeps going faster, or, cutback and stay nearer the pocket!
Under a kite, it makes wingdingers on HA Armstrong foils look like they're standing still to 
Up to 18 knots I use a 10m kite ( I'm nearer 90kg than 85). Over 18 knots is surfboard conditions!
I use the same monobloc with a LT for surf foiling (only sups call it prone!).

Because for me at the moment Foil = light wind...then I have more fun with TT or Surf on waves...
