Demo'd a local brew the other day called Bighead, from Burleigh Brewing Co. Top notch like its western cousin little creatures, but $20 cheaper
$53 bucks from bws (no jeep affiliation)
What local drop do u sink with mates after a session? Extra points if it gives a competitive edge by pregame workout
My home brewed Ginger Beer.... powerful stuff, my neighbours had trouble making it back over the fence after the last session, both citing "numb legs" as the problem....
And my latest (just sampling my first batch now) home brewed fejoa prison brew, tasty..... will wait till end of flagon till I estimate it powerfullness.
If splashing out for the bought stuff, any given craft brew on special at the supee is good with me!
Aaaaand to confirm, fejoa homebrew was awesome!
For you kiwis out there: Take the pulp out of a bunch of fejoas and chuck it in a pot with a splash of water.
Boil on low for an hour or 2.
Sieve off the juice into a plastic soft drink bottle.
Add a teaspoon of yeast (Yellow label bread yeast will work, or you can use brewers yeast).
Add a couple of tablespoons of sugar if you want to make it extra potent.
Release the pressure in the bottle a few times a day for the first few days, until it stops fermeting (takes about 5 days).
Drink it, add soda water to mellow it out a bit.
You could do a bigger version in a fermenting bucket with an airlock, but you'd have to secondary ferment it in the bottle to make it fizzy.
And flyingcab, yes my ginger beer is awesome. Sorts the men from the boys, and costs about 50c per big bot

I've installed a duel battery system and a Engel fridge in the car. My beer is always cold at the end of my session! I buy whatever is on special.
Washes away the salt.
Cold beer is good beer!!
Sometimes I wonder why I'm a fat f***er, but then lose interest in that train of thought.
Here's to your health
I had a fejoa tree at my old house. Neighbour used to make awesome jam from them. Be an interesting brew!

get on this.... comes in a can that is the size of a pint, clean, refreshing and perfect for curing all kinds of ailments, as an aside it is carbon neutral and 100% organic.
Depends on the session. If its a northerely i go great northerns, if i have a whole session without even getting my hair wet i go super dry, and if i land a new trick i guess ill have to try a big head.
Any beer as long as its full strength and cold.
Actually temperature is negotiable.
On second thought temperature is not an issue
On third thought strength is not an issue either.
I might have a problem.
Anywhere North of the 23rd parallel ( tropic if Capricorn) it's gotta be red cans ( emu export) at other times I am open to suggestions
Yeah..it may be a bit cliched but it easy to drink and usually suits the moment plus a good bit of marketing always gets me...
+1 for Corona after a sesh on the water; but it has to be Cold
Nail Red Ale is a good drop & Mash's copycat isn't too shabby but both are a bit strong straight after kiting
Drink responsibly, share your stoke
quality not quantity, I find most aussies look for the cheapest carton of crap that they can lay their hands on,id rather drink water than most mainstream aussie beers, heres a few im fond of weather dependant
guiness after a solid winter nw frontal
leffe blonde, summer
leffe brun, autumn
james squries, hop theif, anytime,
the leffe is my alltime fave, $113 a carton but worth every cent, actually cheaper if you work out the alcohol content to all those crap mass produced additive loaded beers , cheers
What about a pre-session beer? Anyone into doing that?
I think if you don't overdo it that a small drink before boardsports actually relaxes your muscles a bit and lowers your inhibitions a little opening you up to try new tricks.
