Hey crew
Ok been on hols in Piles Spain since May 20.
Good run of wind since then. Its the best time.
Friendly Spanish crew here .They have a spot and a small registered club The Dukes. At Piles.
They just got word from The lifeguards they must not kite here unless they move a few hundred meters south.
Schools holidays more tourists.
So now just waiting to get shifted on from the new spot by more lifeguards stationed in that new location.
It sucks for the local crew and guests there club who pay EU $70 per kiter each year council beach fees to have there spot but now just getting kicked around like unwanted beach users.
Hope it's not catching on back home in Aus.
That would spoil it for lots of dedicated crew.
Like this crew here in Spain.
Who actually promote a growing sport safely.
It's nothing new.
All main beaches in Spain are closed to kitesurfers for the entire summer.
It's been like that for years.

We were here most of May last year no problem but now in mid June summer has started and the kiting
restrictions are being enforced. Its a shame because the wind is good now.
Yes Doc
Its probably our last trip here.
Very overpopulated along the coastlines.
I regard NSW as a police state.
But can't wait to get home to our bit of paradise.
Bloody rules and regulations.
No wonder people go bush or just pull back from society.
I remember the signs at beaches in Hawaii. By the time you finish reading all the things you can't do. You get moved on for loitering.
