WA section is leaking again!!!

But seriously ask horey. Hahhaha I kid there is no strapless waves in brisbane ****ed if I know why anyone uses a strapless surfboard in brisbane.

What you need to do is drive north to moffats and pin cusion and old lady island etc etc etx sunshine coast is a mecca

Brisbane... is nothing. Its enought to scratch that itxh but not enough to get you high.

The 1pm Brisbane ferry wake is the biggest waves you will find in Brisvegas. Its bigger than most days in Perth though.

It can be as the NE winds start up then and are especially good befor a storm. It's really the start of our windy season.

Stradbroke island has some vary nice spots to go kite surfing a bus and a ferry ride 2h round trip away quicker to drive to gold cost or sunshine cost but if you have no car it is one option.

Hello Clint,

Brisbane has some good spots if you cannot be bothered to drive an hour to the closest areas open to the ocean. It has some flat water and some spots with wind chop. Size of the wind chop is directly proportional to the wind strength. Try the Sandgate area or Redcliffe. If you have the means and time to drive an hour or so both north or south bound you can get to some awesome open ocean waves. I can really only comment on the Sunshine Coast but try Caloundra and Maroochydore (Cotton Tree) in an out going tide only or any open stretches for down winder action.

Good luck bro

Head down to the gold coast, there's a nice spot called narrow neck. Be sure to sign in first.
