Do they do the whole wall without mortar? Was that price labour only?

Bricks and mortar kite shops aren't making enough margins these days to afford the mortar.

hahahahaha :D

well done

as for the board... its for kooks. seriously. cant believe you old men are frothing over this?!?!

oooo yeah those smooth rounded corners are so easy on my poor arthritic knees in the chop yeeehoooooo
flat based with marginal rocker how is this anything worth mentioning? honestly.

groundbreaking boundary smashing or just making a super simplistic board thats as boreing as boreing could be for the masses ensuring its as easy as possible to use cause 90% of kiters are old kooks

its fine it is the latter. but dont all get worked up about it. it should be your secret shame not something to gloat and brag about.

So basically this is a bragging thread. ^^^

lol.

Or is it buyer's remorse ?

Your title name suggests that you're somewhat fixated on the damage to the pocketbook.

Yeah I reckon. Just because its a basic boarf thst was made over a decade ago does not mean we cant admire it for being the baseline of average.

$1000 is a great deal for a holden astra.

Have you rode the board , I'd say no as it's not released here yet, as for flat no rocker

I've passed it over to the boot riding crew and had glowing reports, most said it was a step up in all round performance,
Only a small percentage of kites and boards are purchased by the likes of yourself
Conditions dictate what you ride, around here there's no point riding certain boards or specific kites( however they'll work)
Chuck some boots on the board and take it for a run, ( it'll handle them) and then give us your thoughts
I've just got in from a cracking little session on the board, shame I'm not as good as you to pick fault

Pads n straps are a personal preference, 4 riders out tonight were all on the shinn boards
And all on original sets of pads n straps from 2012 to 2016 sets, the best set up I've owned are the 2012 pads and dakine warlock straps,
Wicked combo for me

oh boo hoo your still upset because i said that the competition organisers and committi use the sponsorship and funds to buy yourselfs all cushy accomodation and flights to and from the comp and for the pro riders etc

if you dont like your members knowing where there funds go then that says something doesnt it.

Hey at least kozzie says it how he sees it.

But it hey is it really worth spoiling the Stoke of a new board. Go to town on the comp scene, dont give two shts about that pretentious scene, but this a blokes new board, it's personal, don't be a Dck.

definition of marginal
<div data-dobid="dfn">minor and not important; not central.

<div class="vk_gy">"it seems likely to make only a marginal difference"

<div>synonyms:slight, small, tiny, minute, low, minor, insignificant, minimal, negligible
<div>
<div class="vk_gy">"the difference is marginal"

as i said it has marginal rocker and a flat base (smooth)

i do not need to RIDE this board to know how it will perform. i know how a board performs and why it performs that way. i have made shaped and ridden enough stuff from garbage can lids to tractor tires to eskys etc to understand how it all works i have even shaped quite a few boards now and have pulled templates from things that simply are not ment to be ridden. ive built water sleds from things like car roof racks and having success hauling these made to be aerodynamic cargo carriers from island to island laden with supplies i have then built surfboards with simular characteristics after pulling templates from those.

again i dont have a problem with your new board cauncy its been made and designed to be as user friendly a possible and it is. i actually like that theres a bit more of an edge in the corners these days and not perfectly rounded and smoothed. that should give it a LITTLE bit more hold then on previous editions. and i dont need to read the new tech tips or whatever to see that but im sure thats mentioned somewhere. these are not something only a shaper would know im not a shaper. every board rider should be able to just see this clear as day with just a little bit of experience and useing a few different shapes and styles of boards.

as for eppo
im sorry man for all those years of imitating you saying nothing but EDGE EDGE EDGE EDGE over and over again like a broken record. but some of us have to be negative to equal out the MINDLESS REPETITIVE PIMPING of there own products that they sell and endorse. if that bothers you my yang to your ying just take comfort in knowing im not makeing any money in any way from my personal observations on some equipment. such a hard life
