Saw this online the other day, I have seen a few people wearing them while kiting, Not knocking the technology but.... still cant believe it will deter an attack.

I saw a father and his kids surfing all wearing them.

None of them were attacked but I think the magnetics just kept pushing the family apart (the last bit is a joke)

shark band on left hand - bite on right hand. clear evidence that it works :-)
sounds like he was unlucky as he landed right next to shark.

My missus gave me the exact same band and made me swear to wear it. It makes me feel a tad safer so why not? $100 is a small expense given the $$$ we spend on kites etc.

Nothing will stop a shark from eating you if it wants to though.

A good article
www.alertdiver.com/Myths_and_Truths_About_Sharks

While some claim that electrically charged devices repel sharks, the shark experts seem to think otherwise. "Not only does the sound of some devices attract them, it may actually spook the sharks to the point of reaction," Burgess said. "Sharks can also sense electromagnetic fields."

I have some old magnets at home which I connected to a tinfoil helmet and added some steel wool around the ears to diffuse the magnetic field.

It is proven 100% successful to date and I'm marketing it as Sharky Headbanz away.

Only $89.99 so cheaper and more effective than the others.

Send me your money pls and your tinfoil hat size.
