Hi
i will stay for 3 weeks in Sydney. End of January until mid of February.
I like to travel a little bit the coast.
where a some good spots to kite and to stay for a few days?
how are the general wind conditions?
thanks for the feedback
Philipp
As pointed out by Freeway, there's a map with most of the spots. If you need advice on where to go I'd suggest giving us a few preferences such as what type of spot (beginner, waves, flat water), in/around Sydney? If outside Sydney, how far do you want to drive? North or south?
Hi
I am intermediate kilter ; more then 10 years experience.
what are the wind conditions end of January, beginning of February.
I have soft kites (flysurfer) from 8sqm to 18sqm

In Sydney- Botany Bay will be your best bet over January and February. Northeast sea breezes 15-20 knots most of the time and the occasional southerly to cool things down (~20 knots). Kurnell, Dolls Point (tidal), Monterey have the usual mix of newbees and intermediate kiters. Weekends are crowded. I suggest getting out of town if you can and experience beautiful uncrowded ocean beaches.
I personally like the south coast. Jervis Bay is only 2 hours away. Also, Gerroa is good.

Plenty of ocean beaches. Assume NE sea breeze.
Just south of Port Macquarie I've kited Bonny Hills - small surf and big beach for launching
Further south - Old Bar lagoon for flat water
Lots of spots around Port Stevens (see NSWKBA - locations)
Central Coast has lots of variety too (see NSWKBA - locations)
In Sydney the northern beaches get less wind than Botany Bay due to topography.
thanks.
i will follow your advise.
Hope I will get some good conditions.
how will be the wind conditions in general?
light wind 8-12knots , medium 12 -20knots, strong >20knots.
Thanks KIT33R
