Advices to a rider visiting Sydney in November

Hi
Kitesurfing routinely around Montpellier (Kitesurf birth place in France).
What kite size to use around Sydney in November
Besides purchasing a used board or taking lessons how could I get my hands on a board a few times Can't take mine in the plane.

Bring a 12 m kite. Winds are starting to blow in November 15 knots NE and the occational southerly a bit stronger.

Don't think you can hire boards in Sydney. Check out the local shops for second hand boards (plenty) and sell it on consignment before you leave. The shop will send on the money when it is sold. Don't see why you can't bring your own though.

If you're on Botany Bay, (Dolls Point) the locals are friendly. Remember to say Hi!

Should be pretty warm in november so you won't need many bulky clothes. Can't see why you can't bring your board and kite? it wouldn't be excess baggage.

(unless your missus is bringing a 40kg makeup kit, and scuba diving gear?)
