Hi
Got out for a few rides at Mudds back in October while the entrance was still open. However went out a couple of times over Xmas and there was no water in Mudds now the entrance is closed.
Did go out for a look/ride last weekend (4th - 5th) and after seeing the conditions at Mudds (No water and crowded with familys) and Wallabi Pt (Tide was too high so no beach to set up and launch). I checked out the entrance at Harrington. Didn't get out as my family joined me for an afternoon at the beach but it looked good.
Would need to park at the Marine Rescue Tower then hike 400-500m around to the other side of the small channel next to the rock wall. I think it would work NE to SSE. Couldn't take too much North due to Pilot Hill.

Hope this helps
Booga

BTW
Should note for riding at Harrington river mouth. That in a NE the wind would be blowing straight up the river so if it went to !@#$ it would result in best case (Able to recover on the Harrington side of the river) a loooong walk (3-4km) of shame back through town to get back to your launch site and worst case ( Recover on the Manning Point side) a trip of 60-70km back to your gear.

So be careful.
