I saw that but the other bar comes with longer lines and is not part of the normal setup package for the pivot.
I have found that kites tend to fly best on bars set up specifically for them even though you can fly them on other set ups.
To clarify
Not sure if above bar depower is available in Australia (but does not really matter for me as its just a general preference).
The bar to kite relationship and how the kite performed is sensational which is enough to surpass what I don't like about the depower power up.
Just demo one and throw it around, I found it a lot of fun and obviously it suits me, make sure you throw it up hard (size is important).
So for the 9m Pivot my dodgy style in
12 to 18 knots would ride strapless
15 to 30 knots would ride twin
My current riding is 70 / 30 for twin / strapless. This may change if I can nail my foot switch. Not that I try enough.
The below the ar depower works ok .I have used the naish above bar depower on last years model and was dissapointed with that.I find the liquid force bar depower is by far the hardest to adjust I have ever used.
Hi
Is it necessary to use the new 2015 bar, or does it works just as well with the 2012 universal bar for the pivot ?
You can use either but the new bar is pretty nice once you use it uou wouldnt go back to the old one.
Ok, the new bar is nice, maybe time for me to upgrade.
The Pivot seems to deliver the power smoother then the Park, but does it deliver enough
pop power in the loops to do transitionturns, backroll transition or darkslide ?
The Pivot is just available in Sweden now, and it feels like this kite will fit my riding style perfect :)
I`ll order one soon.
Thanks for the answers.

I use the G2 Rabit bar with my pivot. It works great above bar depower. Great wind range to my 11m works from 11k to 25k on a Twin tip. Good air in 25k yea haaa...
