Has anyone heard anything about it yet, I for one am expecting a big improvement from 3 years ago.
I have two that have landed but are sitting on a shelf in my garage. Have not had the wind yet to try them out. However, due to lockdowns and such, we just got back from an epic trip to Thredbo. Couldn't not have asked for better snow (for Oz) and no crowds. No lift lines, just smiling happy shiny people.
Might have a chance to get out next week, but won't report on the kites until I have at least three sessions with them under my belt. V5 was so good, I don't really know what I would have wanted them to change, except going to the new fabrics.

I've had 2 customers call and give very positive reviews one from WA and one from mid NSW coast. My 3 local mates all very decent strapless riders have now tried the 10M demo I have up here.
All of them say its smoother, much smoother than their V5's, turns quicker than V5, has more bottom end and better upwind and heaps more stable with better drift.
They have all said the same things, so I'm assuming it must be true.
I'm temporarily broken and cannot kite sob sob.

Chances are tomorrow might provide some wind for testing. I will put up both v5 and v6 10 meter kites see how true this might be. This is the only real way one can compare. Often people have ridden their kites almost to death, or at least stretched their canopies somewhat, and when the crispness and joy of a new kite comes out all one can think about is how much better it is than their older kite. And while the new claims might be true, there is always a tiny bit of bias when a new kite arrives.

Purchased a 7m Reo v6. Second Reo (have a 12m v5) and have flown friends v5 previously.Flew in cross-off conditions at Torquay. I was a little overpowered, friend was lit on his v6 Reo 6m. Both came off the water with big smiles on our faces.
Super smooth, super predictable. I'd say a little more bar pressure than the v5 but in my tight session window I hadn't adjusted for 'offshore' setting.
Negatives? Like most new kites the bag isn't really big enough (my old F-One 5m Bandit bag is heaps bigger than this 7m Bag).
Hopefully will get on the water again soon for a more thorough test.
Hi all, I have flown the new V6 6 meter twice and only had one session on the 10 so far. Man, I am loving the 6 on my foil. I can't compare it to the v5 as my other 6 was a v4. What I can say is that it does generate more power. I went out first day in about 18 knots which normally would be fine, (did have a small front wing on my foil), and had a great session, albeit fairly rusty, and the kite was super smooth. Zero fluttering, super stable canopy. Smooth to loop which is what I always expect from a Reo. However the real surprise came the following day when I went out in about 14 to 16 knots and then the wind dropped right out to 10 to 12 knots. The 6 was still plenty to keep on going, in fact I never felt like I didn't have enough juice. With that added bit of power a few swoops of the kite was always enough to power through the lulls. Looks like that will be my biggest kite to foil with now. I would normally jump on the 8 when it hits about 14 knots as my Peak4 5 starts to be a bit much.
The new inflate system is a winner, pumping a 6 up takes seconds. No more reaching over to straighten out a hose connector to a strut to inflate it. Not a deal breaker, but it was what it was.
I won't comment on the 10 as I didn't have my surfboard on me and there were no waves, so I jumped on the twinny for a while in about 20 knots. All I can say about it right now is that it's super smooth and even less flutter in the turns than the V5. Can't wait to get out into some waves with this kite.
Build quality looks and feels fantastic. I don't think any wave rider would be disappointed with the Reo v6.
Had my v6 6 and v6 8 out over the last few days. Only difference I really noticed from my old v5, has a less flutter in the canopy and smother to turn. Can see the materials have changed and some tweaks here and there. Old ones are great, so hard to notice any small improvements. If you can afford to upgrade would, but the old v5 do a similar job.
Yeh I kite foiled a V6 at Leighton the other day and can attest to zero flutter in the canopy. Felt far more direct at the bar than previous versions I rode - which was V4's. Nice kite.

am struggling with the following always flew Reo's in 12 9 7 5m range changed every 2 years so my last range was V5.
Always on directional Sector V5 54 ( great for lightwind with 12m) Airush chyper 5'8 ( kind of fish 12/9m) 5'6 custom made limit waves for medium to strong wind days ( 9/7/5m)
Now the V6 is slowly entering the market here ( Benelux Eu) I am doubting the following.
as coming of age (now 67yo) I fear the 5m will be slowly leave the set as I do not fancy the 35/40knt wind anymore, its getting survival.
So I was wondering if I'd change my 5m into a 6m so it will be 12 9 7 6 would that be stupid?
Second question, I see the new V6 also has a 11m in it, ...my "old days " experience with, at that time, the instinct sport first ozone water kite, was that the 11m due to its faster was a lot more fun than the slow 13m( if I remember well) and got you going with a little difference compared to the slower 13m
So anybody who has some thoughts, about changing my12m for a 11m.
under 12 knots with 80kg and 12m the sector board is a no go for me it can be done with 2 m extension on the lines....but I'd rather go bicycling or sunbathing looking al all the ones who swim back ,;:=))

Enjoying it - has nice consistent bar pressure, and enables you to generate turns back into wave with kite hovering even when lines slackened. May not have the grunt of Neo, but for light weight guys like myself the Reo is best pick.

I think a 6/8/11 quiver would make more sense these days. I'm a year younger and decided to go 7/9/11 this year (had 12/10/8/6 in V5), don't lose much bottom end with the 11 and the other 2 are favourites and nice and quick in the waves.
Bar pressure is still the same low to medium.

Hi Steve, thx for the info...will keep in mind, winter is setting in now in our parts, not a lot of kiting to be done, although the first batch of Reo's is flying in , in January '22...( propably still tooo freezing cold)
Although 9m & 7m always have done the trick fore me, my friend at 90kg has 10 8 6 and I am always flying 1m smaller than he is, but your setup looks good too 6 8 11, but fear I will have to fly the 11m in higher wind to compensate for the 9m, or hold the larger surfboard( Cypher) longer under feet, which is no fun because it is wide and gets more difficult/tiring due its width over 18knts ( lots of high choppy water.
I usually grab my smaller surfboard if the 9m gets too big for the lightwind board, and holding the 9m till around max 24knts, there is where my 7m comes in...hate flying big or too big kites nearly never depower , then its time to grabe a smaller kite ,;:=))
Difficult one for me...as I always have flown this 11 or 12m with 9 75

Got the V6 6m as a replacement for the 2017 Airush Wave 6m.
Would have just continued with Wave , if they were still around, I recon these were the best kites available for my personal style.
Out of the very basic bag, the kite feels super light for a wave kite.
Slightly more bar pressure than the Airush Wave, nice direct feel, you can position this kite instantly, it pivots around the corner.
Going down the line with lines slackening off, the kite can still be recovered easily.

I was on the 2020 Neos last year for a few weeks, 6m and 8m which I didnt like at all,
