So fellow axonians, anyone with some real life experience on the best combo with the 900 high aspect front wing for pumping back out to the waves when prone surfing. I've got the old long fuselage and the 440 back / 75 cm mast.
ultra short / new 370 ? What's the overall stability like with that setup?
I can nearly pump back out any loss of speed or one irregular pump and I can't recover.
anyhow thought I'd throw it out there to the people experimenting with this stuff.
cheers in advance.
I noticed with the shorter fuselages, you lost more yaw stability than you lost pitch control. I found pumping easier with shorter masts and smaller stab but then I don't really pump at all...
If going as fast as you can is NOT your goal, you'll adapt to a shorter fuselage very quickly and will like it more.
IMHO.
...Axisians...?
Axisians indeed. Oops
Just an idea...
Yeh it was my idea spelled wrong ...
so ... no info from specific prone surfboard riders out there who've tried the different fuse and back wing combos?
No one? Do you jokers on here even get on the water ?
Hmm maybe you have not posted any in the right forum
This is Kiteboarding Gear Reviews
The surfing forum or the SUP foil forum might get better results
Yeh true ... but I figured we'd be talking about axis foils hence would provide indirectly a review of gear. These foils and their fuse and back wing setups cross over into kiting as well
