So Hyperlites have been out for 8 or so years now and I see they are still not covering kitesurfing in their warranty.
What are the long-term reviews like and is the quality improving? Cheers
Are you talking about Hyperlite wakeboards?.... coincidentally last week I put some straps on a 02 Hyperlite wakeboard I found on a curbside collection about 4 years ago. I thought it would be a dog but it was really good... a bit stiffer than my Monk but more skatey/ looser and enjoyable to ride.
Nah mate, the bindings and boots. Ronix are getting insanely priced and if you run two boards there's savings to be had with two hyoerlite bindings and one pair of boots. All a mute point if they crap out every season though as my ronix boots will last 3 seasons usually.
Yeh I used to run then. Snapped them in a couple of months. And the boots use to chafe my ankles if I had to walk for an extended time
Iv since had slingshot rads since 2016 and they are good and still using them. Can't beat that.
each to there own tho
I've been riding Murray boots this season, they are super comfy and I like the support you get from the binding.
Shame they didn't hold up too well. I had to re-glue the soles back on and a lot of the stitching around the ankle support has broken.
Nice boot but don't seem to be up to task for kitesurfing. Not sure if I'll buy another pair?
Also the hardware on the binding isn't stainless so rusts.
Slingshot seem to get a good wrap from most kiters so I'll probably give some KTVs ago next.
