Trying not to pimp on this review, but after using the same harness for a year and half, I have honestly nothing bad to say about it.
If anyone that knows me, they know that my gear gets flogged and used alot. I average about 7- 14 hours a week on the water, From wakestyle, loops, rails, surf and foiling.
Wake and loops are particularly hard on gear. In the past I average 2 harnesses a season, mostly they fail in the stitching or fabric gets torn.
Im happy to say iv been using this same harness for one and a half years and it's still going strong, with little show of wear (as you can see in the pics).
build:
This has been by far the most durable harness I have ever used.
The stitching has zero sign of wear and the safety leash D ring at the front hasn't warn at all (this has been a weak point for me in the past).
The harness has a firm plastic back plate. The rest of the harness is made from a non-absorbent foam. This makes the harness the same weight wet or dry.
its slightly heavier then other harnesses dry, but once wet it's far lighter then the others that some up the water.
Fit:
Konrad harness is a one size fits all. Instead of changing the harness size, you change the size of the spreader bar. You can chose from S,M or L. At a slim 32 I only just fit in the mid size. This could be a let down for the people that are the smaller riders. It might not fit the smaller riders as well as the bigger guys.
The foam back back is super gripping, it definitely dosnt want to move on you.
In the waves, this can chaff you switching to toe side. So to battle this, I made me own sliding bar.
Durability:
as I mentioned above, this is the most durable harness I have ever used. Built tough for extreme riding. If I can't brake it, no one can.
to sum it up, if you want a light harness that's built like a brick **** house, then this is for you.
Cheers. Elliot
Badass looking harness
Stitching is still 100%
That gash was from a foil accident when I got run over.
Slight wear around the bottom
Slight wear at the top
I can second that I brought the harness over 6 months ago and has been used over 5 days a week every week . I used to suffer from bad back ache when riding powered and looping. Have not had a single problem since using the Konrad harness and it still looks Brand new after 6 months of hard use in harsh climates
I haven't tried them but they look a million times better than the Euro inspired rubbish out there.
Are these guys the same mob as the foils that are going around?
haha there is a cool back story behind konrad and euro rubbish. but yes james (the man behind konrad) has this harness and the versa foil/board. this is also a very well build foil.

Ive heard a few build issues weith the versa foil bord
From what iv heard others say they were factory faults and were addressed. There is a brand new versa 2 board coming out really soon.
edit: I personally haven't used the board, only foil.
Any chance Konrad will bring out a sliding rope spreader to suit his harness.
Reckon it would be an awesome wave riding addition to his already great comfy lightweight harness.
Impressed.:)
I love the thought of Konrad releasing a hard shell harness. It'd be cool to have a harness that doesn't stay wet in my car. My car smells enough already.
