Hello all.

I want to try kite surf in small waves for a year or 2 I believe (I do not plan to get too fast in the StrapLess side even if it what a lot of people are aiming for).

I was thinking acquiring a Quest TT to start with for these coming years (Nuggets is also in my plan but this question is for a more surf dedicated activity).

Does anybody have comments on that product. Any other options (Simple and Durable with footStap) (North or not)

Rider: 73Kg ,Level (beginner)
Style: Freeriding, Surf,
Weather: 12-25 knots
North Neo

Hey Christobal,

The QUEST TT is based of one of our biggest selling directional models, The WAM.

The construction of both the QUEST TT and NUGGET TT is however the major difference. They both use a super durable skin construction that not only makes the boards super tough but also makes them super affordable. Both TT models can also be fitted with straps if you wish. The QUEST is a great option for allround wave riding.Enjoy

I get all that from the North web site and YES the durability is a point I may consider as inportant.
Indirectly my question is more like as a sample : Quest TT vs WAM or maybe a Celeritas or F1 Mitu in the long run...

I was thinking of a Nugget TT as a stuff for really small and light winds and a more dedicated surf (The Model I'm thinking/looking of now) as a second step.
That is where I was not sure if the durability should be, when I'm progressing, the major consideration. I also do not want something too radical or super light but more a descent board for medium size wave 2, to maybe 3 m max...
