Watersportsdirect (Aussie company in Qld) Fuel ( not slingshot) rolling wheelie bag

Build Quality: 10/10
Satisfaction: 11/10
Disclosure: No connection to seller, just stumbled over seller and bag while searching online for travel bags

My Comments:

The travel bag is actually designed for wakeboard but perfect for kiteboard and kites

Purchased recently online for $64.99 + $9.50 delivery from Qld to Vic, Note the price was supposed to increase to $90 + delivery but website still advertised as $64.99 + delivery As of 23/4/15.

my 148 x 47 TT fits in the bag, it will also fit two big kites, bars, wetty, etc.

build quality seems excellent

great value for money compared to similar "kiteboard" specific travel bags on market.

very happy with purchase

Hey Koshi. It has. As initial poster said - build quality 10/10+. Big enough for my 140 TT, 2 kites and gear. Using it mid next month for my Fiji trip, will update how it worked then. But so far, I think even the higher price is worth paying.

Hey guys any idea how much the bag weighs on its own.Wheels and mounts tend to add more weight.Am keen to grab one anyway even at the later price.

It's just under 4kg, only 7 weeks til it's first trip to Bali, wheelie bag for kites, TT, everything else plus a board bag, no more dragging bags around.

So, all packed for Fiji. Bag took 2 kites (8&15.5m), harness, board (140TT), 2 Bars, wetsuit, snorkel gear, crash vest, rashy and pump. Weiging in at 23.7kg all up. Not bad at all.

Check your baggage allowance with the airline.
They may try to sting you for 0.7 kgs if you don't get a nice checkin attendant

Do not leave your booties at home for Bali. I think I will be pulling coral and sea urchins spines out of my foot for the next week.

Glad u like the bag Leigh, when are you over there ? Only 5 weeks to go and I'm there, 5 Celsius here last Sunday morning, looking forward to my winter escape.

Pic is last year, Sea urchins at sanur, yep booties highly recommended, the locals have a remedy but it's nearly as bad as the cause, somehow managed to get one in my arm that resurfaced about 3 months later.

Only had the 1 trip with it, but that involved 6 flights in total - including being stuffed in a small plane to get to the Taveuni island and back to mainland Fiji). Bag held up perfectly. Has a small cut in the underside - but did not go through to contents. Very happy with my purchase.

Mine survived, Jetstar baggage handlers, Garuda baggage handlers, hotel and homestay porters, various vehicles, over zealous Indo helpers, customs prodding, poking and X-rays, dragged, dropped, squashed and god knows what else, all good, great buy.
