This is a heads up for the henley to grange beach area on Sunday 19th October.
My company notice board displayed an ad for the following;
"Great strides walk for Cystic Fibrosis"
It starts at Henley square around 10:00am Sunday, walking to Grange jetty and back.
I assume that means there will be a lot of people on the beach Sunday morning, many may know nothing regarding kiting and kite safety.
There could be many bodies hastily tramping through your lines & gear.
I would like to stress that this is NOT intended to advertise their event.
(Even though, I think they are doing good things)
If you want more info go to their website!
Hopefully if everyone is aware of what is going down on Sunday it may avoid a bad day for both kiters and charity walkers.
Stay safe, have fun anyway.
Regards
Fossil
That is ok- the wind is not meant to be good until the arvo anyway.. by that time the walkers should be sipping on a cup of tea and eating scones in Henley Square.
Until they are gone though would be a very good idea to stay clear, thanks for the heads up Foss.
