Can anyone tell me if there is going to be any Seabreezes along the Kingston end of the Coorong on the weekend???????
Cheers Nugget.
Hey Nug. I asked the local weatherman and he is giving it the slim chance sat but nothing sun. Hope that helps.
The town beach isn't usually the best place. Hit the beach 5 km north of the town, at Blackford Drain, or even better, at The Granites 15 km north.
Cape Jaffa protects Kingston from the full strength of the sea breeze - the wind and waves get better the further north you go.
Hi,
I went kiting at 42 mile crossing up the top end of the coorong last week was mad.. the fisherman loved the entertainment i provided nice waves to shread and some good flats between sets to smashout some wake style.. love it
There's a big get together at Kingston Long Beach
over the Australia Day long weekend - kiteboarders, buggiers and land boarders. Kiters travelling from all over Oz to be there.
Get down and join in - we'd like to outnumber the Victorians on the beach!
ah cool i know long beach and the granites well.... ah is that the "robe easter long weekend" thing people are talking about? or is there a thing at robe and a thing at kingston??
There is a different event at Robe in Easter.
The Kingston event is over the Australia Day long weekend and is not an organised event... in fact, it gets very messy.
Mick as opposed to Robe Easter weekend which doesnt get messy?????? he he. The Robe Easter Classic is by far the loosest event ive ever been 2. If this rivals Robe then i may have to look into it!
Why was I not notified?? Granite rocks,... pardon the pun, that's awesome, this old photo of me on my profile is at Granites :-)
