Months have turned to Weeks and soon Days until The National Kite Surf Championships are upon us.

If you haven't booked accomodation, get onto Deb at Happyshack 0403 578 382 and book yourselves a bed for a week of solid kiting and enjoying what Robe has to offer.

Robe Hotel has kindly become the events major sponsor, next to Cabrinha, and with that have organised heaps of good stuff for us all for the week.

Meals deals have been set, with Beer and Burgers, or Parmy and Pint, depending on your tastes and they'll be running for the entire week, so enjoy!

I've set a bit of an itinerary for those who'd like to know whats going on, nothings set in concrete so we can alter bits and pieces if need be.

Tuesday we have at the Robe Hotel, drinks, dinner (nothing formal) and introduction to Robe for those that havent been here before. Just a chance for everyone to meet and make sure most things are sorted, and people are orientated about Robe and sourrounds.

Wednesday is sign up day and hopefully riding. At the event site, we have the local Lions Club cooking BBQ snags, chicken thingo's, Steaks, Do-nuts and Hot Coffee allday everyday. Redbull will be there supplying shady tent and Energy drink hand outs.

Wednesday night is twilight Lawn Bowls for those who like 1960's beer prices and Im pretty sure Bowls and BBQ tea is $5. Starts at 6pm, always a good time.

Thursday, more kiting, followed by(weather depending) Bon Fire and Beers/Wine as supplied by sponsers.

Friday, Kiting...Followed by DJ at Robe Hotel
Saturday, Kiting...Followed by Live band at Robe Hotel, BackSlash(I think).
Sunday, Kiting...Followed by Presentations at Robe Hotel

Robe also has plenty more to offer, we have 4wd tracks to explore, plenty of walking trails, and for those a little maturer Robe is nestled in the Wine Region of Mount Benson and Coonawarra. Jump on the www.robe.com.au website for more info. Heaps to do, wind or not, so pack you toothbrush, shave you knee caps and I'll seeya's in a few weeks.
