Hi crew! Hope you're all doing fine and/or dandy!? You know, there's a lot of people out there who aren't doing so well...
As we've done every year, we'll be running a Charity Downwinder from Grange Sailing Club to the Chicken Shop. All proceeds will benefit Beyondblue, a great organisation that helps those of us who suffer from depression.
The details are...
When: Sunday 2nd of December at 2:00pm
Where: Grange Sailing Club (we'll be riding to the Chicken Shop)
Cost: a $10 donation to be involved... ALL of it goes to Beyondblue
Then What: when we've picked you up and got you back to the Grange Sailing Club, we'll cook up a BBQ and have some softies or everyone to wind down with.
We just need to ask that everyone be at the Grange Sailing Club at 2pm sharp for briefing. We need to ensure that everyone leaves at the same time to prevent anyone getting left behind.
We have a small truck to bring all your gear back to the club and some cars to ferry the peeps.
Newbies are always welcome. There will be one jetty to get around, so keep that in mind, but we will have someone at the front, middle and back of the pack to make sure that everyone gets to the Chicken Shop safely.
We'll also have a photographer on hand to get some sicko-snaps of everyone, so get out there, have a ball and support a great cause on the way!
See you all there!

Rally the troops people. It's looking like it could be a glorious day for another successful Charity event. Beyondblue is a great cause!
Cheers

Hey Crew dont forget the SAKSA Charity Downwinder this Sunday. Should be a cracker day and the proceeds go to a great cause. Would be great to see a sea of kites on the water (pardon the pun)! he he.
Thanks for all the crew that came down and supported the Annual SAKSA Charity Downwinder yesterday. Was great to see so many kiters come down and support such a great cause. While the wind was trying, most of us made it down to the Chicken Shop safe and sound and we all had a few stories to share over the BBQ on return to Grange.
I think we raised just over $400 for Beyond Blue which is a great result.
Thanks again for all your support, thanks to everyone who helped out on the day with cooking BBQ's, transporting people back to Grange, etc. We really appreciate all your assistance and support.
Hope to see you all on the water again soon.
