Who's up for a sup/surf/ kite down winda/ BBQ sound for ozday Monday!?!? 
You need a 4wd or a mate who has one. We get on the beach just north of hawks nest beach(beach pass available at news agents) drive 14kms on the beach up to little gibber. The beach side of mungo brush is a good reference. I'd say we get up there 9 or 10 am. Surf or sup or fish till lunch. Then bbq & beers till the wind comes on(I hope) then kite back down!!! I'll post this on book face under NEWKS page.

Hey dude. It's about 1.5 hrs Nrth of newcastle Nsw. Called hawks nest/tea gardens. It's across the bay from Nelson bay on the ocean side. Will know if we r still going by Sunday morn due to weather. I've noticed a king tide due at lunchtime Monday along with 18'foot swell. Which will cut off the beach to the gibber :-( also a beach day is no fun if pissisting down ;-( will keep u all posted.
