Hey,
I'm wondering if anyone is planning on going out today in the foretasted northerly this afternoon. I live in wollongong and im at the level where i am trying to stand up on the board and I would just feel more comfortable with others nearby in case something goes to wrong and to help with launching/landing. I've taken lessons and being practicing all the other skills in sydney but it would be great to meet some local riders.

Just wondering where you'd head out. Ive started trying to get going on lake illawarra (if you saw a fella getting a ride back in a boat the other day it was me)
I was in Fairy Meadow beach today and saw quite a few kites up a few hundred meters north, probably around Corrimal.
Just talk to the life guards before gearing up. From what the Fairy Meadow life guards said, the rule around here is: on the beach you must stay 200m away from either flag and keep a 500m clearance from the shore in front of the flag.
