After a successful lesson with KitePower last week, I just put the deposit down on my first set of gear, and I'm hoping to take it out on the water this week (and every week thereafter!)
I'm based in Coogee and, for the time being, don't have a car, and would like to get to Botany Bay during week-days. Eventually I'll go during weekends but since I'm flexible enough to be able to take weekdays off reasonably often, I want to make the most of the less crowded water. Within 2 months, I should have a car too, and will then be able to pay back the favour!
So if anyone does weekday trips from the Eastern suburbs and doesn't mind picking me up from Coogee, I'd love to head down with you, chip in for petrol and buy some of whatever it is that kitesurfers eat and drink. So far I've never come across an activity where beer isn't on that list :)
