Yep, in same boat as you guys.
Had some lessons end of last season, keen to have more when weather is better, and get my own gear.

Cheers,
Pete

My son and I have kited the lake a few times this season and except for some dodgy launch areas we have been impressed. This Sunday is shaping up to a sailable day so at this stage we will launch from Primbee, near the wharf at around 11 am. Sadly the wind direction is not ideal as it is mostly onshore but if the angle is OK we can get out past the wharf and sail the lake with a bit of hard edging.
Lastly the wind from the south west is not reliable and it will definitely change but at this stage we will be there if you want a hand or ask questions.

It was good to see so many kiters last Sunday. Turned into a gteat sail. Great to see Russ having a go. At this stage Kian and I will be at Primbee Saturday around 11an and/or Sunday around 1pm. If any of you want a hand we will see you then. The weather is a bit wet and this stage so I will keep you posted. Given the current prediction a small kite would be better for the day.

Yes you got my son a few times Finger...
He was quiet impressed with your work and ran around showing everybody the shots. Well done.
I, unfortunately was blown past the wharf and was struggling to get back due to weed problems and a spoon full of technique issues in that wind. It was a great day.
