Hey, any recent updates on Augusta water conditions? A bunch of us are heading down before Xmas. Is the deadwater dead and buried?
Definately not as good as it was +5 years ago. Not much good in the bay either, don't bother going there, stick to the pond or woodies.
Hahaha - was there on Wednesday and it's absolute ****eb- gusty and weedy as always. A horrible day out definitely not worth the trip..........
Locals are a holes, they dont even smile when kiting. to top it off one ****er on a north board kept jumping over me as i was practicing body draging.
surely your not body draging in the river mouth.... head to outside of the mouth at the beach bro way safer.

Mate how many years have you been practicing body dragging now???
Time to Step UP and get going on a board it's Not that Hard Mate. Well not for some
If you look close you can see the man in the grey suit in that last photo by Aloysius ... Augusta is definitely no good for kiting
Well 2 sessions in and a third one imminent, cool spot. The deadwater is not as festy as I was expecting, gusty but awesome to be able to switch around between the ocean and flat. yeah, terrible place to kite
It used to be magic kiting up the butter smooth section and then out through the natural river mouth which had a wave and then back along the shore break. At least the dead water isn't so dead now and given time the natural river mouth to the east should open up again.
