Any chance there's accommodation still available anywhere along the coast north of the city?
We're thinking of hitching the camper trailer and heading north. Denmark was planned but situation changed and now we're looking for an alternative. Thinking Dongara is about far enough to travel from bun-vegas.
Dongara I'd generally fully booked at Easter and the overflow pretty busy, I'd make plans now , Dongara tourist park is the spot if you like the ocean, there's free camps just south also but a fair way from town, at 7 mile there's a free camp and a great spot to kite surf sup swim spear snorkel but you need to be self sufficient buts it's just 10 klm from town
I would just camp for free out of town.

There's only seven mile that's a wicked Kite spot as a free camp the rest are ok for a swim , fish n chill on the beach, and a fair wack from town too
Thanks for the advice guys, we're not totally self sufficient in our camper trailer so a powered park site is the usual, I made a few calls to parks up the coast from Jurien north, most are booked out solid so we've picked up the last cabin at Dongara tourist Park. Not exactly what we were looking for and it's a bit pricey but the wife and kids will enjoy the relative luxury of a cabin over our camper trailer.
I'm packing our kites and hope to get my little bug out on her board while we're there, she's 9, been learning the basics for a couple of seasons, got good kite control and is so keen to get up and riding on the little Axis board I got for her from Jason & Sonya's young bloke.
