I go to those 3 places alot for work, carnarvon is on the river so cant get much flatter. Horrocks/Pt gregory are in sheltered bays by a wide arc of reef stopping most of the swell, dave on here lives there i think so give him a shout.

you could also try denham on the left side as you come into town away from the moorings. There's also a spot in between Denham an Monkey Mia called little lagoon, name says it all. Not sure if its kiteable but worth a shot

Port Gregory is a better flat water spot, the reef is really high and further out. No swell crosses the reef.
The Horrocks reef is closer in and lower, so there is flat water on the inside, but its a bit choppier as the waves break on the reef and water flows into the lagoon.

But it does have some really good waves if you want them, and you can stay inside the reef if you want to stick to flat water. I reckon Horrocks is a lot nicer place to stay than Gregory too IMHO.

Cheers

I'd consider it. See if we can get a big crew going!
