Hey guys, just wandering if anyone kitesurfs at Alkimos or surrounding beaches? I've heard it's cursed & shark infested. I'm hoping it's not that bad! Any good news, because I'm moving out that way? Would like to know if there is a crew that kitesurfs there, any dangers to watch out for etc...
The rumours are true, I heard the Alkimos boys kite with garlic hanging off there harness, scares of the evil spirits, apparently the men in grey don't like garlic either, kills two birds with one stone this way

There are a handful of guys that kite at shorehaven
I moved up here early this year so got out here a few times
The beach is full of stones but there is as a nice grassed area you can land on (if needed)
Also have a cafe, toilets and showers so not a bad place to kite from
Not seen any sharks yet, the garlic must be working 
, doesn't put of the seals and dolphins though
