Who takes the crown as the last WA kiter for the summer? I'm putting my sketchy foil run at 5.15pm on the SE as a metro candidate!
I think gero may have had the opportunity to take the crown... any nominations?
We had our last seabreeze in Gero about end of May - first couple of days of June last year, so not calling it yet.....

I think he was talking about the official end to summer, end of Feb.
Last year I think Perth still had seabreezes till April. This year though....

Finished the summer off last Sunday with a slow start waiting for a seabreeze that never arrived and then 6 races between 4 and 6pm when the SE resurged.
Anyway the season never really ends for the foilers, just a chance to do some different conditions. Its a nice change to ride on big stable kites in lighter wind.
Niice... yeh summer is more of a mindset then a time frame!
defo a good year for foiling, there were some looong droughts between decent seabreezes.
And here's me just starting out.......
Looks like I picked a cracker of a year to get started in the sport......
Still waiting for more wind so I can practice a few things....
Marg riv is still good wasn't that you gazuki 'longtermer' here last week or was that save the whales always get you two mixed up.. Sorry
