Well done and thank you to all those that attended the first of the local race days for this season.
We had hydrofoil and formula boards attending. Some newbies of only 2 weeks on a race board making their way around the course for the fist time, nicely done!!
A huge thank you to Rockingham Cruising sail club, a big start boat, and several support/safety boats made a safe and awesome days racing evening in the frontal conditions. And to all the course volunteers on the boats during the rain squalls, absolute legends, thank you!!
Prize giving, bar and food were well enjoyed by all racers after a big day on the water.
The Rocking venue showed up what a fantastic racing venue it was, cant wait to race there again.
Even if you arent racing but would like to watch, pop down to any of the next events say hi.

Quick Update on Cockburn Regatta - Foil & Formula:
# 13 kiters paid up already
# 5 more getting theirs paid this weekend.
Heaps of newbies, juniors and ladies in the fleet!
So STOKED, going to be a great fun event!!
# 8 more kiters (with foils/formula) i'm bugging to come join the racing.
# 7 foil/formula lads are away for the holidays.
Racing in WA is looking very positive, and we have heaps more in store!!!
A big thank you to all who have supported in every way!!!
There are also a number of kiters that will be trying out a formula board over the holidays, if you keen to try get in touch
