Weird Wind Today.. be carful kiting onshore winds

Peeps .. if you thinking if kiting today be very weary of onshore gusty winds ..

Forecast is westerly and a bit all over the shop ...

So if you thinking of going to Applecross maybe re- assess where to go as it may be onshore .. Point Walter tends to be more side-shore if its Westerly ( with a bit of North)

I will be at Point Walter later so hope to see you out there..

Mmmmm I think today may be a non-kite day ... I think the pub is looking a better option ..

Today I had a look at the beach at the end of Ardross street in Applecross and it seemed that it would work well, is there any reason why no one uses that spot?

I seen people there before but wasn't sure if kiting is allowed??

It would most likely be because the wind is so **** at Melville half the time you struggle to edge back to your start point and being at the end of ardross on the point you run the risk of going behind the point into a wind shadow, those houses would chop the wind up aswell.

Monday and Tuesday is looking sweet ... but that can all change ..
