Hi,
I am shortly going to be looking at a 1990 Farr 11.6 and was hoping the kind folk here could tell me more about them and what to look out for. I also have the chance to inspect the same model but made in 1994. Both vessels were made by Binks, are sail drive and helm steer. Both are relatively the same price as each other with some pros and cons when compared. Thank you.
Get all the measurement certificates you can for the boat before you go and have a look because this will help you understand exactly what you're looking at.
Check all the measurements line up with each other and with the specs you have on the internet. This will help you understand whether the boat was "standard" or custom in some way.
I emailed Farr about a 38 and they were happy to provide confirmation of the design number and the fact that it had a bigger keel than advertised..
