Hi All,

Just came across this product in advert while browsing yachts. Interesting concept, has anyone ever used this style product before and any advice?

For interior use only.

If you DON'T have a cat onboard, it's a viable option

I used it in my cockpit and am very happy with it. Very easy to install too.

It's only been on a few months but no wear signs at this stage.

I've got off cuts that I will place on other parts of the deck after I do some painting. I went with the grey because it matches the KiwiGrip on the decks.

Hey, I just bought a couple of sheets to do the deck and cockpit on my new/old TS, the non slip paint was looking tired so I think for the price, if it turns out to be rubbish, I'll rip it off and try something else. I was looking at the top teak stuff but I would have been close to 2k for my little 20 footer, i'm at $180 so far. I also liked that it is soft under foot as my 3 year old loves to climb all over the boat. So far I'm about 1/3 the way through the install and I have to admit it has exceeded my expectations and I love it! I was having trouble to find any DIY install vids on you tube or pics of decks that others have done tho!

What do you use to stick this stuff down? I am thinking of using this on my cabin floor over the old wood that is there.

All you have to do is peel the backing paper off & it sticks!!

Very easy to use.

it sticks real good, i bought some contact adhesive because i had my doubts about how well it would stick but I haven't used any yet, I can't say how long it will last, time will tell and being that I used it on my TS, it's not exposed to the elements all the time. I'll put some pics up after the weekend once I finish.

I'm pretty happy with it, it's definitely given the decks a new lease on life!

That looks amazing. DO you have a link to the exact one you bought as there are many on EBay. I'm going to do my cabin floor with it.

I love it but aren't you worried about UV? Do you tarp the boat when not in use?

I thought Lazzz had done a great job but you have raised the bar, that looks fantastic.
Trying to work out how you did it? Did you cut it into single strips with the white edge on one side and then laid it plank by plank? Or does this come in singular strips?

I'll find the link but is was about 60, melb stock and it had the beveled edge.

yep the boat is under a tarp in the car port when not in use, so not overly worried about us and with how cheap it is I'll just replace it when it gets.a bit tatty.

and I did cut the sheet into strips 1 wide for the borders and the rest into 3-4 planks wide, this made it easier to curve to the boats radius!
